The Canadian Federation chose the Alpe Adria as a selection criteria for the World Championships (WOC) which will be held in Asiago the week after the Alpe Adria’s races. Despite the proximity of the two events the overseas athletes decided to maximize their stay in Europe by optimizing their training in terrains similar to the Asiago Plateau.
